Gawler Youth Workers Network

The Gawler Youth Workers Network is a network of youth service providers, local government agencies, educational institutions and those interested in youth affairs within the Gawler area. 

The purpose of the network is for:

  • Opportunities to develop partnerships
  • Information and resource sharing
  • Professional development
  • Discussion and coordination of funding
  • Improving services, networking, cooperation, coordination and integration of youth agency programs
  • Providing advocacy together with or on behalf of young people and to provide formal feedback on regional youth issues.

The Town of Gawler's Youth Development Officer takes a lead role to convene meetings and manage the distribution of agendas, minutes and other information as required.

All meetings are held at the Gawler Sport and Community Centre, Nixon Terrace, Gawler.
